The mission of ISAI is to promote social and economic integration, and cultural understanding in South America.
ISAI seeks to reduce or reverse the negative social, economic, and cultural effects of exclusion, discrimination, and other impediments to the full participation of all South American citizens.
Yorgos D. Schwartzmann is the founder and president of the Institute for South American Integration. Yorgos has extensive experience in the financial services industry in Colombia, Peru, and the Cayman Islands as well as in the nonprofit sector in the United States. He holds a master’s degree in international relations from Georgetown University and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the work of the institute.
